It doesn't look bad to me. Being that I own a 35th SS, my only question would be whether putting not factory items on a limited edition car would be bad.

For example.. would that cause people to see my 35th and assume the entire car was possibly a fake?

Just some thoughts.. looks nice though.

All they have to do is ask you! And then you can show them the Z4C code.

I don't think it matters much. This vehicle shouldn't be viewed as an investment. Other then some stickers, it's not much different then a regular 2002 SS. I think it might be worth a bit more then a regular SS down the road, but only to someone who really wanted a 35th. To your average buy, it would be just another Camaro.

Considering the nature of the product, you could save the stock grille and put it on later if you wanted.

If you read my post.. I definately never said anything about investment. There are OEM stickers for sale at any GM parts counter.. you could easily pull off a fake 35th anniversary for under 500.00.. and its already been done by many. Also, the stripe kits fit perfectly on any color SS, making them look just as good on a black ss for example. (ive seen it done)

My comment was definately not from an investment standpoint.. merely cosmetic.. cause people are always wondering whether some SS cars (even Z28s) are real.. but thats a different conversation.

I've had the same question when trying to decide whether to buy a different exhaust.. I've had 2 of SLP's quad center exhaust with fascia.. and loved them both.. for my 2000 and 98 SS.. so a huge part of me wants that kit for this car as well...

But I'm positive the new front grill will be on my ride.. it looks very cool.

You're right J.R., I misread that. Considering how many different options SLP has provided for the SS(and 'Hawk) over the last 7 years, I'd think that people are probably a bit more leanient on the originallity of the car as it would be harder to tell (depending on the options you ordered).

I think of it this way, it shoud have been done this way from the get go.

....and an SLP Engineering part is as close to OE as you will get.
