Just got my car back from the dealer! It's fixed and so far it looks like they did a great job.
They did not even mention my !CAGS or Pro-5.0. The just put it all back together exactly as it was.
3rd gear feels new. Not only is it different than before, but feels like I need to break it in again. I have a lot more confidence shifting into 3rd and even 4th to some degree. Maybe the shift fork affects 4th too?
Well, I have all day tomorrow to break it in. I'm driving it to Portland to visit Steve and company. Just in time to change the tranny fluid to Redline. Perfect!
Best of luck to others with this problem. I say get it fixed. It's worth it.

That's good news, Ryan. Mine is going in for the same thing next Tuesday.
Not only have I been having trouble popping out of 3rd, but the 2nd to 3rd shift has always given me problems. I'm hoping that maybe this will help out there too.
Looking forward to meeting you tomorrow night!

One Day! I was impressed. Took the car in at 8:00 AM and picked it up at 5:30 after work.
So far so good, it's been almost a week and it has 400 miles on it cuz I drove it to Steve's place.
