Sorry needed to tell this to everyone.....I am eating dinner on Friday night with my girlfirend in a very high class area of New York and I park the car right in front of the cafe so I can view it while I eat dinner (anal bastard that I am). We are finishing up dinner and I see a New Mercedes ML 320 truck trying to parallel park in front of my SS. So, I keep an eye on it as so does the rest of the people in the cafe. There were 3 girls all about 16 and a guy maybe around 17 in the back of the truck. As she is parallel parking she backs right up into my baby! I fly out of the cafe and they are all laughing...and I proceed to say...."Excuse me but you just railed Daddy's Benz into my SS. The entire cafe was watching this and was in awe and felt real bad for me. I looked at the Stripes because that was what I was so worried about and they were fine, Thank God!!!!!! I buffed out the any marks. I went to her and said dont worry about, but you need to take some parking lessons.........and dont do it with Daddy's Benz! I went back in the cafe and everyone felt real bad for me. My dinn er was done for the night.........oh I neglected to mention that my girlfriend.........was about to pounce on the girl becuase she has a Z06 and she knows what the car means to me...........thanks for listening to me vent........Have a terrific weekend guys!

That sucks!! Make sure there is nothing wrong that you couldn't see. Double and triple check. I think you are eligible for emotional distress. I know I would be!

Yikes Gino....that could have been bad, glad to hear that there is apparently no harm done.

A little Z5 and those fine scratches that you will no doubt discover in the daylight will be gone!

Just want to let you know if you think parking the SS where you can see it is anal, I'm right there with you buddy. I make a point of not going to dinner, or breakfast for that matter, without parking Black Beauty right by the window so I can see her.
I wonder how many of us do that!
Sorry you had to go through that, but at least there seems to be no lasting damage.

I guess I'm worse than most, I would have used the wife's car and left my SS in the garage!

Glad everything is O.K. I'll bet she'll be more careful next time.

lol...ok my car might not be clean all the time but i go to specific restaurants that know who i am and that if anything happens to my car they are dead meat....so they usually are rewarded $$$$$ and they take very special care not to let anyone park near it or go near it....so talk about being anal....bye the way gino i washed it this a.m. i just finished cleaning it after it has been sitting all week long in the driveway. i am gonna have to start driving it everyday now since i sold my FORD truck...i knew i would get rid of that hunk-o-junk! im staying with CHEVROLET!

Thanks guys!!!! Ok, I have to come out with the truth.........I took the SS there because everytime I go and eat there, there is a 2000 Red Cobra parked in the front. It is actually really nice looking, but I just wanted to show him that he wasnt the only one who ruled that neighborhood...........unfortunatly I paid the consequences. I am ok and I intend to show him who rules. I am an anal bastard and I am proud of it!!!!!

Well if that's the motivation than you should have your girlfriend take YOU there in her Z06.
LOL. Then, you would be showing the Cobra who the REAL boss is. Hee hee

Your wife must be pretty understanding for her to let you take her car to take your girlfriend out to dinner.

I don't know why some people don't care if they bump into your car! Hopefully no damage!

I think I would have called the police and had an accident report filled out. Not because I wanted any money, but because this 16 year old girl shouldn't be behind the wheel, and Daddy needs to know this. What will it take, the kid wrapping the Benz around a tree to drive the point home?
