Finally, I filled out the application form and put it in the mail this morning. I'm looking forward to becoming an "official" member of the SSOA family.

Well, I paid my money and filled out my form last month, and now here I am as a new member to chirpthird. Still awaiting my "package" to officially adorn me as a new member of SSOA. But Teri says she's on it with a few loose ends to tie up, so I'm in no hurry.
What's this "initiation"???....

You must post frequently, ask many questions (so we can all answer them and feel smart) and prompt invigorating discussion here on the message board (also gives us a chance to show our intellect).
You must also attend an event where we will all gather, get to know you in person, and only then, will the Fbodfather or Joey Red grant you with your "family" name.
Just ask Nate da Napkin....he'll tell you all about it.
SSee ya in Bowling Green!!! You are pre-registered, arent' you? Link is in my sig...

Yes, me and the wife will be there at Bowling Green with both our Camaros, registration #s 85 and 86. Staying at where....goodness......forgot now....anyway, it's across the street from the museum I think. Oh yeah, Best Western Continental Inn. Kinda weird, my dad retired from Corvette, and I remember when we could stand out in the back yard and see the plant.....he's since moved, but woulda been nice to save on the hotel bill.
Was at the Feb Camaro/chevy show in Orlando, but obviously without the cars at that time.
We're looking forward to meeting lots of F-body owners there....

We'll be at the Best Western, too. The SSOA has a block of rooms. We'll look forward to SSeeing you there.
