Sounds good.....that gives us time to assemble a group of people to go for a drive and catch a bite to eat somewhere together.
What day is best for you? For some reason, I'm thinking that one of those days is a track day at Portland International Raceway, that Steve is signed up for.
We'll definitely figure something out for getting together while you're here.

Hi Robert. Sounds good to me. We will be putting on a Dyno day on the Saturday you will be here with one of the local 'Vette clubs, but other than that, we should be available. Also want some input from you as far as surround sound and wiring in the garage while you are here, if thats ok! Steve.

Hey Robert, we will just save you some money, you can drop by Dans house and drive the Vette out here for me, then take the 69 back with you. No plane tickets needed!! I am sure Dan will whine about it though.........

...and depending on which I-state you're using to go cross country you could drop me a line and can meet you both ways to go for a cruise in each ... that way they could get additional "independant" verification that it was a great deal for both

Your having a dyno day, how cool! Considering I work at New England Dyno and Tuning ( www.nedyno.com ) at night and the weekends.
The reason I was going out to Oregon cause Robyn's friend was getting married but the wedding got called off and I since we still have the plane tickets we are now flying out to help Robyn's sister wire her new house with a surround sound system.
You want a surround sound system in the garage? Are you two feeling okay? You two living in the garage now!
If Dan wants to drop the keys to the Z06 I'll make sure it gets out there of course I can't guarantee that the Camaro will make it back to Dan's house it might find its way to my garage and lock the door.

You guys are killing me. Ok, how abou this. You can take the Z06. I'll take the slow 96 SS and the 69. Robert can drive here in the 96 and take the Z06, then drive out there in the Z06, drive the 69 back here, then I'll get him a cab home.
Then, I'll take the 69 to Bowling Green so Art can see it.

We have DISH network wired to the garage, with a big screen and surround sound in our future.
We have a garage living room set up where two future cars will be parked, complete with carpet, tables & chairs, a fridge.....all the creature comforts. Our "reclining" seats are in the form of the third seat out of our Astro Van. It has cup holders, a console, and seat belts (for those who imbibe in too many Jell-O Shots, and more). I even have a foam padded bed made up for weekend naps.
We're not finished on the inside, so that's the perfect opportunity to get our wiring in for the future surround sound. What do you know about 7.1?

We have an mpeg of the '69 on the dyno......it's on OBSSD's computer, I think. Plan on coming with us to the weekly Friday Night Cruise. We can probably provide you with a car to drive there that evening. The rest of the Oregon/Washington SSOA people will have to help us figure out where we want to go for dinner one of those nights you're here, too.

I am not so sure you will get a reaction from Robert. He is pretty even keeled. Pretty mellow in fact. You will get a reaction from me when you send me the 69!! I will treat it like my children, no better.

No matter how even keeled he is, we'll still get a big grin out of him, for sure!
