Does anyone know the name of a good heat resistent paint as well as a place to get it? Thanks in advance for all of your advice!!!!

I used engine enamel from Auto Zone. If you're still in Montvale there is one on rt59 in nanuet, about 10 minutes from you or Allpoints auto parts in Westwood is pretty good.

Rich........I love the way yours look!!!!! I will definitly got to Auto zone!!!! Engine enamal you say......and yes I will be here in Montvale till the end of August.....we should meet up again.......

We painted my son's calipers on his 1979 Camaro with Ford T-Bird red high heat engine paint and the results were great! Make sure you clean the calipers very good before painting or you may get fisheyes.He bought the paint from National Parts Depot.

It seems to be holding up well.

I used Plasti-kote 'caliper paint' that I found at Pep Boys. Looks as good as the day I painted them after a year so far. Good stuff!

thanks for the tip rich...i went to auto zone today and got PLUM CRAZY PURPLE to paint my calipers tonight after the sun goes down. its too hot out there today!
everyone else left and went to ohio for slp day!
