I had a dilema with the shipping of my engine plaque. I was hoping to get it before the car show this Saturday, but UPS had returned the item back to the supplier. They couldn't find my address, yet they had delivered a package not less than two weeks prior. So I email JeffY on monday and he put me in contact with Keith and Jason. Well, the package would be arriving at the supplier on Wednesday maybe, possibly Thursday. I asked if they could send it via overnight back to me, I would be happy to pay shipping. It looked very grim that I would have the engine plaque by Satruday, but the SLP staff pulled through and I received my plaque today. It was sitting pretty on my door step. So I would like to thank the SLP staff for going above and beyond their call of duty. Most other places would give you this kind of service if you had ordered a $200 part (based on my experience), but that is not the case with SLP. So Mr Ed Hamburger, you have attained a remarkable staff at SLP (yes, even David H. ) and I would like to personally and publicly thank Jeff, Keith and Jason for the efforts. This goes out to you guys, and if/when I am ever out there I will look you guys up and buy you dinner.

Incidently, I wanted the plaque here so that Scott S. could sign it, then back to SLP for Jeff Y. to sign it as well. After which I will have it professionally clear coated and mount it on my SS at car shows (not for normal driving).

i wish i had that kind of luck with slp i ordered 2 new exhaust tips for my car and they sent me exhaust tail pipes instead of the tips the pkg has been sitting here for 2 months waiting for a call tag from ups to come pick it up . i called slp in toms river several times and they never seem to get me the pick up tag. all i want it the damn exhaust tips my car looks junky with a damaged one!

p.s. i already paid for them too!

which is killing me since i dont have to correct parts!

i called them yesterday about it and they swear he will get it out to me! we will see what happens next week if i dont get them. i just might have to take a few hrs out of my day and drive down there and return them myself!

yeah i know that they are different but you should still get the same response from both ends of the sale of the parts. it shouldnt matter where i ordered the parts from. i dont know we will see what happens this week if i get the right stuff or not.

Just because Pontiac and Chevrolet are both parts of GM, you can't go to a Pontiac dealer and expect to get an answer on a Chevrolet.
