Well, after a long 5 1/2 months, number 8484 finally arrived at the dealer in the middle on the night Friday & I brought her home the next day.
I have to say there is nothing about the car that I am not happy with. The Bilstein suspension w/ the BFG tires & chrome ZR1's give the car an awesome stance & the handling is even better than I expected. I can't wait to get my SFC's & STB isntalled & see how much better if feels.
The delivery went very smoothly & my dealer did everything just the way I asked. I took off all the pastic off & actually washed the car at the dealership myself w/ my own things to make sure there were no inperfections. My saleman just stood aside the entire time & let me do everything the way I wanted. Although I'm sure he was ready to finally be done with me.
I've haven't had a chance to get the pics downloaded yet, but I'll have them up soon.

Unfortunatly, we won't be hearing too many "I just picked up the new SS at the dealer" in a very short while
Maybe if we hope loud enough, we will be able to do it again with a 5th gen!
Hope to see you at bowling green in september!
Steve, I would be willing to bet that we have been loud enough!! The Camaro will be back. I amsure of that. It makes no sense for it not too. I just hope the General realizes they better not wait too long to start to get us nuts excited or many will driving the four letter word and it is hard to get them back once they go!! It wouldn't take much to keep us on board now would it. In fact, I will not sell my SS at any price right now. I could never say that about any other car!
