If you hate the plastic lug covers, check out http://www.wheelreplicas.com for an "installation kit". I did.

Genuine chrome-plated metal lugnuts that need no plastic covers. Looks great ... and ... trash the plastic!

Good tip. I've broken about a half dozen of the chrome plastic covers over the last year.

That's great but do they have them without locks? I hate those locks.

Not trying to steal anyones wind.....

But Gorilla makes a nice set of chrome
locking lugs too. All 20 lugs are locks
and they are triple chrome plated.

I've used them for 7 years and they outlasted
my last car. Took them off and put them
on my new car! [Smile]

No more lost or stolen caps! [Big Grin]

Hey MMM_ERT, don't worry about stealing anyone's wind if you are passing on good info! Thanks for the alternate source.

Go to http://www.wheelreplicas.com and look at the "accessories" area.

When I called wheelreplicas, I asked them if they would make up a "bullet kit" for my SS, and they said "OK, but it will take awhile." Anyway, the thing is, they might have the 1.5-pitch metal blanks by now and you might be able to get some lugs unlike anyone else's from wheelreplicas. I didn't ask, but I'm sure they would send you a full set of non-locks since it would be cheaper for them than the regular set.

Good luck! [Big Grin] and thanks again.
