Hawkeye, thats an awfully long drive just to get donuts. Dont they sell them Canada?
I am visiting a Corvette autocross this sunday, and am doing a track day with them on monday in the '69. It should be fun. Will let you know how it went on Tuesday(trying out the KDW's for the first time!)

Uhhh Nate...it's *over* a month until we leave. (Edit - dangit Art, you beat me to it ).
But it's going to go by way too fast. I'm busy every weekend between now and Aug 24th's track day, then it's only 2 weekends until we leave. Yikes, I better get busy.
Have a great day everyone...and enjoy your weekends. I'll be visiting my grandparents I haven't seen in 15+ years and other family members I haven't done the best job of staying in touch with.

Howdy. A very late check-in for me today. I've been between home and The Dentist all day trying to get in to have a tooth looked at. Remember that crown I've been waiting for since Nov 2001? Well, they've finally been able to schedule me in for November 2002 to get the crown. I've been worried all this time about losing what's left of my cracked tooth and worried about the nerve giving me trouble. I have pain for a week or so every couple of months and call in to get the "we can't get you in" song & dance. I lost my sanity while on the phone w/them today (my nerves are on edge from this) and told them they were going to see me and drove down there until the Dentist finally saw me. The x-ray shows nothing, but the Dentist says I now need a root canal from having to wait so long. Now, instead of the one procedure (a crown), I get to have a root canal, too. It was like pulling teeth (pun intended) to get an appointment in 2 weeks for the root canal. It'll be 3 days before we go to Seattle for the PNWCC All Camaro Show, so I hope I'm not hurting from the procedure. I hope this thing doesn't give me trouble on our B.G. trip. What really ticked me off was while I was in the Dentist's office, I had to stare at their Mission Statement about how important preventative care is and how they strive to take care of patients...
Thanks for listening to me whine.

If misery enjoys company I can tell you my cracked tooth/crown/root canal story in Bowling Green ... and thanks for the reminder ... I need to make an appointment to have the permanent filling done in the crown. Posts: 4222 | From: Winnipeg MB CA | Registered: Feb 2000
