Would anybody be interested in attending a parade in downtown(!) Banks, Or, on Sunday August 18th? I am going to try to get a bunch of Corvettes and Camaro SS's together and do a big group of cars in the parade. Its not a very long parade, but can be fun, and we can throw out lots of candy! We will meet at Starbucks at 185th at 8:45, leave about 9ish and head out to Banks. We need to be signed up by 10:00, and the parade starts at 11:00. There is a BBQ afterwards too. Let me know if you would like to attend!
Steve. [Smile]

Yeah, I know how these things go...the parade won't be done until 1, we'll go out to lunch afterward and I'll eventually get home after 5 [Wink] I'll keep it as an option but don't count on me being able to make it.

Naw! We'll catch lunch (if it's ready) immediately after the parade at noon (downtown Banks is only a couple of blocks long). They usually have a BBQ. There's not much to do in Banks (unless you want to watch the smash-em-up derby or tractor pull), so we usually head straight home. Here's what's going on in Banks Aug 17/18.

What all do you have to do to your car that isn't already done? Perhaps we could plan for a tech session at our house right after the parade.

It all depends on how much time I actually get to work on it between now and the 17th: mud flaps (don't know if any cutting is required), stainless brake lines, solo bleeders, brake pads, brake fluid flush and switch to the Kumho's. Everything except the tire swap needs to be done before I try making it to the parade.

Steve will be having a word with you behind the woodshed.
The flaps take all of 10 minutes to do. The install should be like ours (Office Depot race shop binder clips) so you don't have to drill into your car.
The brake stuff.....well.....those are quick ones that can be done at the shop after work one of these evenings.
