The first good news -- our track DOESN'T enforce the convertible/rollbar NHRA rules like I thought they did. Mike, one of our local club members, runs high 12's, and they didn't hassle him so I ran hard the full quarter as well [Smile]

Next, I posted a new personal best on full tread street tires 13.313 @ 106.365 with a 2.102 60' time also my best yet.

Then, Mike had to leave early and asked if I wanted to try his drag radials ... didn't have to twist my arm. Talk about hooking up!! Ran a 13.094 @ 107.539 with a 2.027 60' on the second run ... it eliminated wheelspin on the shift to second and I'm sure I can still launch harder [Smile]

Unfortunately, the clutch wasn't up to the task anymore so the day ended kind of "stinky".

So what was the part number on the SLP Clutch? [Big Grin]

Now that must feel good, great runs!

I'm gonna get the hand grinder to the torque arm today if I get the time.

Did you grind yours?

Congratulations on those great times.

Did you do them with, or without, windshield washer fluid? [Big Grin]

I just finished some minor grinding on the bracket, painted it black again so I can see if it still hits. I'll have to go out and pull a few hole shots to see if it hits! [Big Grin]
