The first good news -- our track DOESN'T enforce the convertible/rollbar NHRA rules like I thought they did. Mike, one of our local club members, runs high 12's, and they didn't hassle him so I ran hard the full quarter as well
Next, I posted a new personal best on full tread street tires 13.313 @ 106.365 with a 2.102 60' time also my best yet.
Then, Mike had to leave early and asked if I wanted to try his drag radials ... didn't have to twist my arm. Talk about hooking up!! Ran a 13.094 @ 107.539 with a 2.027 60' on the second run ... it eliminated wheelspin on the shift to second and I'm sure I can still launch harder
Unfortunately, the clutch wasn't up to the task anymore so the day ended kind of "stinky".
So what was the part number on the SLP Clutch?

Congratulations on those great times.
Did you do them with, or without, windshield washer fluid? Posts: 2359 | From: Waterloo, Ontario, Canada | Registered: Jul 2001

I just finished some minor grinding on the bracket, painted it black again so I can see if it still hits. I'll have to go out and pull a few hole shots to see if it hits! Posts: 5558 | From: Windsor, Ontario. Canada | Registered: Feb 2000
