Got a question on the mirror install. Saw the pics you posted a while back but been meaning to ask you a couple of questions. First how is the A pillar trim held on, I know the two screws at the top but do they use christmas trees? To remove it did you just pull it off? For the power I saw you used some kind of fuse conector. In the pic it looked like it was on the side facing out (side the trim pannel covers)? Is this correct, if so the fuse cover won't go on right? Or does the connector go on the back (under the dash side)? Does that makes sense? I think thats all the questions for now...? Thanks!

After the 2 screws for the "A" pillar are removed(t-top and convertible only)the "A" pillar moulding is held in place with 2 metal clips that go into a slot in the pillar. A rearward and toward the center pull on the moulding will release the moulding. The terminal that I used to tap my 12v ign. source is a terminal that clips to a fuse that can be bought at any autoparts store or electronic store. I bent the male end down and connected the wire. The fuse box cover will fit just fine after that.No splices were made into the vehicle wiring. [Smile]

Thanks.... trim sounds easy enough to remove. Now I understand how you made the connection to the fuse. Wonder if there is a way to tap on the back side? So you don't have the wire on the fuse side....

That could be done by loosening up the fuse box,but it was getting dark when I was doinmg mine and just wanted to get it done and if I was to ever sell the car, that mirror could be removed in just minutes with the harness. [Smile]
