The last Camaro is scheduled to roll off the line Tuesday. He had his final video conference with Ste Therese Friday.... which he said was tough enough.
Then he gets a call from home Friday night that his uncle passed on. They were very close.
Scott, your extended family is here, and behind you. We will remind you of that again in a few short weeks at BG. Sometimes in life, you can actually get back as much as you put in.
Hang in there my friend.

You know...I've said it before and I'll continue to say it....you are simply the best people on earth.
Thank you for your kind thoughts and prayers.
I knew that Tuesday was really going to be a "sucky" day....in fact, I woke up about 5am and could not get back to sleep because I knew it was a matter of hours until the last 4th gen cars would be 'born' if you will......
But when I got a call from home that my uncle passed, it turned the weekend AND Tuesday into a "double header sucky day."
My uncle was a doctor and he helped tens of thousands over a long very successful career...he was head of cardiology at two Pittsburgh area hospitals until retirement a few years back. Unfortunately he died a very terrible slow death from a very very rare liver disease...and I guess the worst part is that he knew that it would be long and hard. So, in many ways, his passing should be a celebration....he's no longer in pain and he's with his maker and a bunch of my other relatives and I'm sure that as we speak, he's arguing with my father about this fall's Pitt-Penn State game! Nevertheless, I will miss him... And while we were at the graveside services, a word or two came to me that really discribed him-- Grace and Class...and if I can only have one-tenth of the grace and class that "uncle Tick" had, I'll have lived a very good life.
Again, thank you for your thoughts and prayers....it truly means a lot to me and my family.
