Scott sent me this....(I don't think he sleeps..LOL!, but then again, it's 4:23 AM as I write this....hhhmmmmmmmmmmm?? )
Good evening, all,
Dan Edwards, our friend from Ohio sent me a note that I found very interesting......wasn't aware of this, but David Campion and Matt Murphy have both verified that this is true:
Last Camaro off the line at Ste. Therese.......August 27th 2002 -- Red Camaro
Last Camaro off the line at Van Nuys ....August 27th 1992 -- Red Camaro -- 10 years to the day.......
Last Camaro off the line at Norwood -- August 26th, 1987 -- Red Camaro -- 15 years and one day..........
No....this was not planned...the final car at Ste. Therese was to be on August 29...but because the buildout went so smoothly and we had no supplier problems or work stoppages, we built out two days earlier.......

A class act at Ste. Therese, ending this chapter in the Camaro's history with dignity. Posts: 2359 | From: Waterloo, Ontario, Canada | Registered: Jul 2001
