Ummmmm.......let's see......Linda........5 months pregnant........sitting 10 hours or so in those inordinately comfortable SS seats.......uuuuhhhhh.....no, I don't think so. Besides, her Maid of Honor is getting married on that Saturday.

Let's put it this way ......
Where I work, I have to answer the phone all day. The last thing I want to do when I get home is answer the phone. How does that analogy compare with being an OB/GYN?

Well, ya, I agree to a certain extent but not completely. Many of them would NOT want to have a baby after seeing the pain of childbirth (thank the creator for Epidurals!!!). However, most love the process and love kids. Furthermore, you really have to love parents and babies if you are at the hospital every day and spend the night at the hospital every other night, otherwise you'd go insane.
Are there any OB's on the board that could comment (he boldly asks after highjacking Jim's thread)?
