I want to thank everyone for making my first SSOA event a blast. I don't think I've ever met so many wonderful people in one place before! I do have to hand it to Steve and Teri for their wonderful oragnizational capabilities. Thursday ran so smooth!
I'd like to once again apologize to Cy for making him my unintentional target on the slick track...
Ran my first drag ever Saturday, thanks to Chris and Brian for the positive support and encouragement! I have it out of my system now, (for a little while at least...)
I'm glad to put faces to names and hope to see everyone next year! I'm hooked and will be back!!
Thank you all again!!!

I'll have some pics and videos to post as well. We have mpegs of the Saturday night burnout session at the Country Hearth.....well before the @$$ cop showed up! He could have handled the situation a little better in my opinion.

I don't know if you heard or not.. but the girl in V6 Camaro came over to our hotel at Best Western and received $205 total in cash from the people there .. well more than her ticket cost her.. and then she split.. I didn't contribute.. but talk about some very generous people helping her out Posts: 596 | From: Kansas City | Registered: Aug 2000

And just think, the lady at the table beside me at the auction, I think her title was "big red" because of her red Z28, wanted to bid on THE COP while he was on stage at the auction! She left before Scott's date was auctioned off, wonder what she would have gave??

The F-Body Gathering III - The Unlawful Assembly at the NCM!
That cop was a looser. I felt so bad for that girl, getting caught up in the moment.

Not sure who posted, Chris or Jen, but you'll have to look at me waving in your rear view until I get a better hang of it.... Posts: 64 | From: Marietta, GA | Registered: Jul 2002
