My mother just called a good friend of mine died last night. No details yet, saw him last week at the ice arena and he seemed fine. 48 years young, wife and 3 kids.
A reality check indeed.

"Enjoy every day" is good advice. I lost my younger brother to a form of cancer 4 years ago. You never know...life is precious and must be enjoyed!

But great advice to all of us who sometimes take life and being "young" for granted. So sad to think that this had to happed to make us realize it. Hang in there...just to let you know we are thinking about you!

It's times like this that make the memories of the fun times, comradery and friendships developed over time (e.g. Bowling Green) so meaningful.

Sorry to hear the sad news, Brian. I know exactly how you feel. My best friend passed away suddenly a few years ago at 50 years of age. My sympathies.
