I'll be picking them up Saturday, October 19 at the MFBA Track day held at US41 Dragstrip just south of Chicago. Anyone going to be in the neighborhood?
Doesn't everyone have 4 sets of wheels and tires for their SS I sold the winter set

Now looking for 2 more chrome 5 spoke SS rims. Will keep 2 Nittos, sell 2 on the chrome rims and then buy 4 new tires - starting my research now, I do like the look of the Michelin Pilot Sport.
Will read up some this winter before I decide!

Check your math If you sell 2 Nitto DR's ON (with) the chrome rims, you'll need 4 chrome rims to go with the 4 new tires. .. and don't forget the line lock and the Pro 5.0 shifter
How about coming down to US41 for the Saturday? It should only be about 3 hours for you.

Funny you should post this, as I just read the following article in the American Medical Journal.
"Unfortunately this disease affects primarily males, and it's currently incurable. It is caused by ultra high levels of testosterone. The name for the disease 'Boytoyitus', from the Latin term 'boy toy'. It gets more expensive to keep this disease under control as you get older, hence the saying "the only difference between men and boys is the price of their toys.". Recently, the disease was diagnosed in the New York-New Jersey area where it appeared to affect male speech patterns, slurring words together such as "fgetaboutit" and causing mispronunciation of words like 'the' which becomes 'da' in such phases as 'da family'. There is also a tendency for males with this disease to wear pink robes with black spots. The disease apparently was brought to North America by males of Italian decent. The first case was found in a young Italian lad named 'Gino'. Whenever a male gets this disease, people usually blame Gino. Blaming Gino has developed into an international sport identified by the cheer "It's all Gino's fault". The Altanta Center for Disease Control is actively working to develop a cure for Boytoyitus, but sources there indicate that no progress has been made to date." Well actually, Rock wants the 2 Nittos mounted on my rims, and will give me his rims with his 2 Eagles on them. I take his Eagles off, buy 2 more rims, then I have 4 rims - waiting for new tires and 2 rims with Nittos mounted - voila!
What Saturday are you going? It's about 5 hours for me Posts: 5558 | From: Windsor, Ontario. Canada | Registered: Feb 2000

October 19th.
So Rock's not going to bother with a matched set of street only tires?
I've got my original chrome SS wheels in the attic. Maybe I should cut you guys a deal on them with a right of first refusal if you ever decide to sell. I could bring them out the same time I pick up the others.
