Hey all, for the past week or so, i have begun hearing a rattleing noise in the rear of my car, adn it got worse and worse. So i decided to look at my spare tire. And it looks like it's just lying in there with the jack laying pretty much under the tire!! [Confused] It's not suppose to be like that is it? I dont see any place to fastent eh tire or anything. I just checked all this about 5 min ago. Please help! Not sure how to put humpty dumpty back together again.

Yeah, I found the pics by the jack as well as in the maual..but..here's what i deducted:

The tire and jack are just thrown in there not tightened down (didn't find anything to tighten it down with even!), and also, the jack is all old and used and rusted so they must have switched or something. So my dealer is REALLY gonna here it from me. I've only ever dealt with them since i bought the car a year ago from them, so I know it was them. I"ll post the update when i call tomorrow.

Sounds like you may not even have the correct "donut" spare. There's no way I could possibly get the jack under my spare.
