foundation? My attached garage is connected to the house and has brick on the sides. The brick is pulling away from the house and taking the aluminum siding,soffetts,gutters with it. The brick has separated over 2 1/2". So instead of enjoying a nice weekend at the Skyline Drive,I will be digging out under the foundation by hand and hoping to use a hydraulic jack to raise the garage foundation ,then make a new foundation. Any tips on lifting a attached garage wall and raising the foundation?

The contractor that worked on my parents' house did this. The floor in one of the bedrooms was "downhill" so he jacked up the floor and shimmed it until it was level. I didn't get to see this but from what I understand it was quite a large jack.

Has anyone used that hydraulic cement pumping to lift a foundation?

There is a Company here that specializes in that
"Soulliere Solutions".

You probably have one over there as well. You could do the prep work, then have them come in
for the "lift".
