That sucks! Just make sure you talk to the glass shop and ask them how good they are with F-body windshield replacements.

BTW, I've had luck from time to time - putting a little crazy glue in the chip and on the crack, seems to slow it down, often times has hidden the crack, and sometimes stopped it - at least until you get it in for the repair.
