Anyone know about how much the factory exhaust is that comes with an SS? And where I can find it? (e.g. www.gmpartsdirect.com??) Was just going to compare the price of that vs. the price of the loudmouth (which I think is about $340 at afterthoughtsaut.com)
Thanks! Any QUICK info is greatly appreciated.

Hey Erin, I'll keep you in the 'front' of my mind. I'm not sure what I'm going to do yet. Need to go to the dealer for an estimate on what it was cost adn for installation. I'll keep you informed. (I see I have 4 days to go on your auction ) Thanks

For reasons, I need to replace it and just looking for the cost of it..I'll probably end up going with the dual-dual LM exhaust since that's pretty cheap, as long as it's a driect bolt on...

With the number of folks that upgrade their exhaust you should be able to find a stock SS or even a dual-dual pretty cheap ... especially this time of year.

lol...up until about 3 months ago i still had the dual dual that i took off the car to install the loudmouth...and yes dan the loudmouth is all bolt on! you might be able to do it urself if ur handy in installing stuff on your car.
you see when u ordered my car it was suppose to come with the dual dual and it didnt so they installed it the day the car arrived at the dealer they gave me the stock exhaust since they didnt need it. then i took the dual-dual off and installed the loudmouth...so in 1 yrs time i had 3 exhaust systems on my car!
so if u want the stock on let me know and i will drive it to pa for u!

Aww, well thank you for the offer Erin! And I'm not that handy with cars, although if I had teh tools I probably would do more. I'm going to have to install a new exhaust soon, so we'll see. I didn't make any final decisions yet. Thanks so much!

I sold my Dual-Duals for $200.00. It was only on the car for 3 months. I just needed to get rid of it. Have accumulated to many stock parts after installing mods. Still have stock parts from 94Z.

$340. . .not hardly! Try $1000. . .check with f-bodfather for a more accurate cost, but let me tell ya'. . .it has 3 in. pipes going to the muffler, and it does give you 10-15 more h.p.
