The dogs owner stated that the cop should not even be able to carry a gun. Very sad when a cop gets a badge and a gun and he is the judge and jury. The video did not make the dog appear to be attacking the cop. I could see if it jumped in his face and bit him,but it did not. That dog didn't have to be killed and the trooper should pay somehow. I sent the article to Bill O'Reilly at FOX hoping that he'll do a story about it on his show, The Factor, to expose this kind of abuse of power. It's just wrong. There were numerous alternatives in that situation, and he chose teh wrong one for sure. At least they have the video to help out the victims. My brother lives in eastern TN and I know they've heard a lot about it and caused quite a stir. There better be no way in he!! the police will get away with it.
