...I received an email from Bud Scolastico regarding Camaro's at Carlisle, note in bold who the entertainment is...
--------------- Camaros at Carlisle 2003 (6/13-6/15) is 136 days away and Spring is 52 days. Host hotel(s)Days Inn, south side of Carlisle. ACA has 50 rooms set aside. Across the street is the Motel 8, 40 rooms there. Friday Night, Camaro Cruise to the Soda Jerk in Hummelstown. Saturday Night there will be a party at a local Fire Company. Joey the Red will be doing his comedy. I understand he is very good and pulls his material from the days events and what is going on around him. He broke up the place in Bowling Green last year.
As always I will keep you updated as to what is going on. Take care and hope to see everyone soon.

Registration forms should go out in the mail this week,to everyone who attended the first 4 shows. Folding and stuffing all the envelopes is a major project for one person. My hands get tired. Hope to see all of you there.

I'll be going too (judging 1st Gen's), haven't yet booked, ...but soon. Here's the host hotel info... ...pasted from Bud (Scolastico's) note: ... some items of interest for this years show. First the host hotel is the Days Inn on the south side of Carlisle. ACA has 50 rooms set aside for the show. Across the street is the Motel 8, 40 rooms there. They have trailer parking, I don't know about the Days Inn, you will have to ask. Room rates our $85 to $95 at both places

Im thinking of going to visit the show. May plan to fly back and not bring the car. Have some relatives that live in Maryland.... is it a big show?

Is it a big show? ..."Camaro's at Carlisle" is coordinated by the "American Camaro Association (ACA), ...Karl Scheffy &Co. and is a subset of what is actually scheduled for that weekend (6/13-6/15), ...(ie. GM Nationals). Last year I believe there were around 300 Camaro's/F-body's; a display of Yenko's; Jerry Mcneish; John Moss; Scott Settlemire,...and more.
Here is a link to Carlisle Productions website that details a broader picture of the event. Last year GM brought at least 8-10 trailers full of 'specialty' vehicles for display. Additionally this show attracts other Chevy clubs (ie. Firebirds ,Novas, Impalas, 50's Chevy's, etc.) and many vendors. Definitely worth the trip...

A quick comment - just received the flyer advertising - Camaros at Carlisle - it looks like it would be an interesting show....
But.. since I've never been before, it doesn't say where it is? I assume it's in Pennsylvania somewhere, but there is no where on the flyer where the location is mentioned.

Hey Hawkeye, The event is 20 minutes away from Harrisburg in Carlisle. I live between the two, and haven't gone to the event yet. I'm definately going this year though. Would be great for you to come!! It's right off of Interstate 81.

I mailed that to you special. That way you can come down to my neck of the woods in PA. Camaros At Carlisle and the Camaro Superfest are the two biggest all Camaro shows in the USA. I guess we assume everyone knows about Carlisle. Bad assumption on our part. Hope you can make it.
