once again this year i will be ordering shirts.....

i would like to get your imput about what kind of shirts you would like to have and then if we can limit it down to 1 style for men and 1 style for women that would be great....

it could be polo, tees, sweatshirts jackets, which ever ones we want to agree upon.

hey jr. is there a program you can use to do a percentage vote so if i post pics up that everyone can vote for their favorite shirt?

for those of you who missed out on last yrs due to the time limit....this is what we ordered last yr... unfortunatly the orange is no longer available and there arent 2 white ones...one is birch(grayish/tan) color

Polo's would be nice. I could wear them at work, but T's would be great for weekends and shows. Go with whatever costs less! [Wink]

lol chris!!!!!!!!

well tshirts are cheap but like last yr it was nice to have a dressier shirt for dinner.... but we dont have to do that...

i might be willing to do a polo, a sweatshirt and a jacket again like last yr.

as a matter of fact what i will do is get the prices from my girl and see what she can do for me. last yr becuase of the time frame i wasnt able to use the girl i normally use and we had to pay a little more then i would have liked.... so lets start talking about do we like this style polo or would we like to get something different since we already have this style shirt...i know that the people who didnt get one might like them but this has to a majority vote here.

also one other thing that will change is that you will need a order form from me when we decide what the shirts will be and you will need to send it along with ur money order to me.

as we go along i will be have more information available. i will start orders in may/june and then final ordering will be in end of july. this will give the company plenty of time to order the shirts and get them together b4 BG!

Not to try and step on any toes here, If you have any problems with getting any screenprinting/embroidering done, I can hook you up as well...or if even price is an issue, I have a great connection and can even get prices quoted and where I work with them alot, they will bend some for me and small quantities doesnt have to mean big prices, might be worth lookin into...any questions or interest, feel free to email me...again no pressure, its your thing and I am just tryin to help out all you friends.

how about long sleeve polos?

and last yr we pd 28.00 and i know she will do better then that, last yr i couldnt use the girl i normally use becuase she wouldnt have them finished intime for the event...this yr we have plenty of time!

i am going to call her tomorrow morning and speak with her about the shirts.

also if we could decide on 1 deisgn for the left side of the shirt it would be cheaper for the setup.....so lets comeup with something universal like a chevy bowtie and a pontiac emblem on the left side and then we ca do our names like last yr on the right side.

so every rack ur brains...or if u like our idea let do something like that!

All right young lady, pull over right there. The fashion police has arrived. jk [Big Grin]

Erin, lets chuck the polos this year. Not the most stylish cut for a shirt. Ok at a car show or casual day at work, but not too many of us would wear it outside of that environment. Ya reading this MR/MS USA1?? [Razz]

I offer this idea. A heavy duty cotton long sleeve with a 4 or 5 button henley cut collar. As for the logo...how bout our club emblem. I'd like to show off the SSOA colors, anyone think thats a good idea?

No long sleeves. We that live in the temperate climates can't wear them. They also wouldn't be very wearable in Sept. in BG.

I'm open to just about anything else.

I would be interested in a polo or henly , T-shirts are good but I have so many and every event has them so a little more dressy would be great. [Cool]

we did polo last yr and i think we are going to try something different this yr....kinda make each yr stand out...so to speak!

i am not going to be able to please everyone so it will be a compromise on this.....but i can say i do like the baseball style shirt and sweatshirts will be the same as last yrs. I am sure some of you saw me and teri and steve sporting the nice sweatshirts while all of u were chilly!

the only additions i will be making is that of the childrens versions..which was a request last yr from some people who brought the kiddies to the show. just becuase they are small dosent mean they cant sport chevy/pontiac stuff!

no, they will chevy/pontiac enthuasiats shirts. -

this is what the shirt looked like last yr

this yr the place where the 2002 camaro and our screenname will go away and it will be replaced with a generic symbol either the bowtie/pontiac emblem/bired...whatever we decide on.

we still need to talk about that part too!

this is not in anyway associated with the SSOA or chirpthird. most of us use the same names throughout all the chat boards and its a good way to be able to know who is who when you go to shows...this way everyone can but a face with a screenname.

the SSOA already has wearables and i think u can contact teri if you would like one of those shirts.
