for any that might have one or know somebody that does. last week..we had one roll out of a parking place and into a canal....

since then..we have found that this problem exists on 2 dozen of our fleet Breezes. NHTSA has been notified and is prepairing action.

what happens is, a pin dislodges from the shift lever and allows the auto lever to be in any position for key removal. it also can be moved without pressing the detent.... AND.. you can move it in and out gears without the key in!! or brake pushed!

in other words, does not have to be in Park..or brake pedal pushed....

bad chit folks...
