There is only GMS and the discount depends on what vehicle you are looking for. The price is off MSRP and the options may be at a different rate than the base price. Getting the Caddy
Now if you can get a PEP/fleet vehicle you can get up to another 14% (maby more depending on the model year) off the GMS price.

Ed,I called Rinke Cadillac and just for the heck of it saw a CTS that stickered for over $37,700. The sales person told me the GMS price was $32,762.Does that sound about what the % of GMS discount would be?

My Brother works for GM and told me one time tht if I boought a new car off the lot the discount would be just 5% of the MSRP. Now if you order a car you get the dealers price and the dealers options prices. Both of my camaros and Tahoe were ordered and I saved more money that way. I hope this helps you. I bought my "02" SS on the GM Supplier discount program,I ordered it and the msrp was $30590.00,I paid $27881.57.which was invoice.I figured if I could order an SS and get it at invoice that was a good deal.I might have paid too much,but I'm happy.

Greg, A barebones no options CTS starts at $26,760. Depending on the options it will add more. If you tell me what it has I can tell you more. i bought my SS for 26056.00 msrp 30345.00.
typically its about 5% discount some are 3% u need to ask the dealer what ur discount would be....the amount is marked in the memo amount on the invoice to the right side about half way down the invoice. it sometimes says memo: then an amount next to it. the GMS pricing is always listed on the invoice along with the others like fleet and such. ur entiled to see the customer copy of the invoice so dont be shy to ask for it. i always ask!

About 5k sounds about right.Will do some figuring Monday should be able to gat Invoice and GMS pricing (approx).I usually stick mine into the fleet but I beliave that the employee price is under dealer invoice.

Is that dealer cost? The MSRP on a bare bones CTS is like $30,200 from what I see on the window stickers.

On my system it shows dealer invoice for a bare bones no option CTs as $27,657. Dealer MSRP as $29,900. GM price is above, now that is for a GM employee. Not sure if you have someone who works at GM who would qualify you? If your a supplier etc. it will be different.... this is employee pricing only. Also this is pricing at start of Feb 03. GM has had a lot of price increases.... depending on when the dealer got the car they may have been invoiced at a price that was less. I was under the impression a general way to figure the discount would be 14% - sales tax of your state. That'll give you a good idea of the price of your car after tax before license, title, etc.
Dealers don't have to honor the discount though.

Where did you get the employee price? The wife brought home a sight ...www.chromecarbook.com/...............and from what I see its' invoice along with MSRP .Not sure though if the invoice is the GMS pricing I would say no because you can get invoice for ALL makes and models.
If I get you right in your example is the $5005.00 figure the MSRP,$4254.25 the dealer invoice, and $4104.10 the GMS price.

the Yuke will be the daily driver . As I remember if the new models come out and the last years model is picked up after that their is an additional 5% off the MSRP. Now that may have changed, been awhile since I got a PEP car.
