Was in the bowling alley for only 1 hour with my son,s league and when I came out some A$$ HOLE scrached the LY DOWN TO THE PAINT. SO PISSED now will elaberate later.
I am looking for a place to get some Zymol colored wax on the net as I thing 90% of the scratches can be covered up.The only thing that might not cover is the quarter size dent on the rear 1/4.
This FN pisses me OFF.

There is a dent the size of a quarter on top of the rear 1/4 along with 3 scratches about 1/4 inch long . Along with that about a 18' scratch along the door and rear 1/4. And 4 smaller scratches about 1/8 long on the door.
I put a lot of wax over it to keep the elements away from it (now the most heavely waxed part of the SS) .I'm looking to try and find a colored wax to try and cover 90% of the damage . It will always have the dent but I wont have it repainted as it will never bee the same.
DaddySS never heard of paintless dent repair . And thanks to every one I have cooled dowh ALOT since yesterday..............

Ed I am so sorry to hear about your car. It just really ticks me off to see some jealous jerk vandalizing peoples property. They will get theirs someday as what goes around comes around.
Take care my friend.

Just got a price of $250 for repair . Was thinking of leaving the dent as the shop is talking about having to repaint the 1/4 . Don't like that idea. Police said that I have 30 days to make a report. Will have others look at it to see what they think if I can repain without painting the whole 1/4 I would go for that even though I think that you might not notice the small ding.

I would seriously look into the paintless dent repair..... unless its in a weird spot ie near a body crease etc. they should be able to take it out. This is very common, most new car dealers use this a lot to fix damage in transit and on used cars. As for the color wax to hide the spots I don't think anything like that exists.... Meguires makes a deep scratch remover. I have yet to try this (have some sample packs) as I have some bad scratches from when the car was shipped.... I have used Meguires #7 in the past to hide some light stuff... Feel bad for ya man.... yet another reason I never take my car "out", it only leaves the garage for pleasure rides and gets put back. Its unfortunate that we can't enjoy our cars without some A** messing with our stuff.....

Look up paintless dent repair in you local yellow pages - some of the franchises are called dent doctor or something like that. If the other scratches are not thought he paint layer, you have good success in cleaning them up.

I am sure yo will make the right decision Ed. If you need to repaint they can make the finish match up perfectly. May cost a little bit more but in the end you will be completely satisified. As for those morons who did that they will pay the price someday. Hang in there bud your friends are here to rally around you. Posts: 2841 | From: Westland, MI | Registered: Apr 2003
