Most of you use zaino or have used it on your vehicle . The wax is great!!! But the plastic cleaner has ruined my fiances jeep. Let me give u the scenario...... About 2 months ago, I waxed my fiances jeep and I decided to use the plastic cleaner for the door handles and the roof racks and the running boards. Well to this day there is a white residue all over those parts and I cant get it off. I have tried everything. Water, soap, armor all......it always hazes back up to that white haze. If anyone has some suggestions, I would love to hear about it. Thank You so much!!!!

It's your fault Gino. Period. Anyways... I havne't used the plastic cleaner, but sounds like my problem when I used to use Meguire's wax and got it on the plastic. Sounds like the plastic isn't smooth. Did you try using a high concentration of Dawn soap on it and scrub? Or perhaps Simple Green (warning: never tried so I dont know). Hopefully others will be able to help more.

I had a white haze on the stock grill of my SS. It wasn't zaino and I think it was from the previous owner or dealer detail job. Anyway, I tried everything and couldn't get it off. So, I put some, okay A LOT of WD-40 on a towel and went to work. No more haze on the grill. YOu might want to give it a shot on a small part of the truck.

If the plastic has a texture to it, have you tried using a stiff detailing brush. This is what I use when I get wax on the black plasitc at the base of the windshield.
Failing that, Mothers make a product called "Back to Black". I have used it once or twice and still experimenting with it.

My buddy used 2001 on his plastic trim on his focus, which turned a nice dull white. I told him to use back to black, which is kinda hard to find, and it took it away. it came back about a month later, and he used it again, it came back for a third time, but every time it was harder to see. it has been about 8 months and no noticable come back from the beast of haze.

The plastic cleaner is for polishing clear plastic lenses that have become dull, not for cleaning interior parts (as you found out). Mothers back to black, WD-40, etc. as mentioned above will all help. As stated above, it will probably take several applications.

Turtle Wax makes a product called "Black Chrome" that should help as well. The other tips are all worth trying.
If not, I believe that rubbing alcohol will remove Zaino. I don't know what it will do to the plastic though.
