Hey hey. Feels good to be home from back-to-back trips to Oakland over the past two weeks...hopefully won't go down again until the last week of this month/first week of July.
Busy busy busy though. Nate came over on Saturday and helped dismantle the front end of my car. All the busted parts are off and Steve stopped by this morning and we loaded the new parts in the van ('cept the hood...it had to go in the trailer). I missed the last bus to downtown though . Then comes the fun part of putting it all back together when the parts are done being painted. Had to order a couple more brackets...once they arrive, I can bolt the fender and fascia back on. And rather than loading a freshly painted hood in the trailer, I'll just drive my hoodless car down and bolt it up at the paint shop.
Hopefully it'll be good as new for the Friday night cruise.
