I'd like to say Thank You to all who kept me in great spirits. I was really considering going home after being rear ended. I had a great time meeting new friends and seeing some from the year before.
I did receive an award from The American Camaro Association. It was the "Talk of the Nationals" award. Sponsored by Rick's/First Generation. Thanks.

That is the one thing I worry about the most. Going down the road to a show in your "Baby" and then rearended by someone. Oh man I would go absolutely crazy.
When I take my car out it is usually early in the morning on a Saturday or Sunday when noone is around. Just to be safe.
Carrie I hope you are smiling soon and your car is back to where it was before the mishap.

Glad you're o.k. - the car can be fixed faster than human bodies. Just shows what can happen in the blink of an eye. Fbodyfather would be glad to know you had your seat belts on!

Thanks All. She will get fixed. For her pain and suffering I'm getting her a spoiler so she can feel better about herself. I just hate having a rental car (Nissan Sentra...EWWWW.)
As for the Fbodfather....He checked out my car a few times. He's a great guy. Really nice to talk to as well. He was happy that I was wearing my seatbelt. I always have since I got sandwiched back in 1993 or so in my 87 Camaro. In that accident my car was the only one that was driveable afterward. Amazing how safe these cars are. And people want SUV's....huh.

The adjuster came today to look at my car. The car goes in on June 30th. I'm already going thru separation anxiety and she's still on the trailer at my house. I can't imagine how I will feel when she's not here. Thank God for Muscle relaxers or I'd NEVER get any sleep. The Nissan Sentra is just not working out for me. I hate that car. I want a Sebring Convertable.
Thanks for the welcome even tho I have a Z28.

It doesn't matter what model you drive...it's an F-body, so you're automatically part of 'Da Family. We're always glad to have new people hang out on the Porch with us.

Thanks for all the well wishes! You guys/girls kept us sane the entire weekend. It was nice meeting all of you at Carlisle and we hope to make it to Bowling Green if our sched. allows.
As for the car, I'll be dropping it off Monday the 30th and will be getting all I can from the insurance co. We got the appraisal yesterday and it was only about 4,000. A bit too low in my opinion. They want to fix the body and I want new q-panels.
This car was close to perfect and I want it to be the same when it returns. While it is in the shop I'm having them paint the whole car, put on a new spoiler and remove the Z28 emblems. When it comes back I'll put on the stripes and possibly do the strobes
