I'd appreciate some advice: after reading the comments about subframe connectors, I think I'd like to have them put on my car. Daily driver, no comp, but it sounds as if the benefit of fewer squeeks and rattles would be good, as I plan to keep the car for a long time. Here's the dilema: SLP no longer has an install place in Michigan, I guess. My dealer literally didn't know what SFCs were. Anyone know a reliable place to have that kind of installation work done in Michigan? Maybe STB as well, altho I'm not sure that's as much help for a daily driver.

Can't give you a specific Michigan location but I had mine welded in by a reputable frame shop. They charged $100 Canadian (about $60 US at the time).

SFCs are definitely the way to go. I had them installed almost immediately after I bought my t-top SS.
I have weld-ons from Global West Suspension and primarily chose them because they tuck up neatly behind the rocker panels and you basically can't see them.
A local custom muffler shop (who knew what they were doing) performed the job for about $65. Can't help you with shops in MI ... but I can tell you they stiffen the car up considerably.

Are you sure SLP won't do it in Troy? If not try Thunder Racing.
