well...i know i havent started any havoc on here lately and i havent been able to go to car show but i have good reason. Just shortly before my 25th bday(may 1st) my mother told the family that she went to the doctor and found a tumor on her ankle. they removed it last week and hopefully they got it all. So i really havent felt like going to shows or doing anything fun. ontop of it all last week i decided to not be a hermit crab and i was in the city with my friend April and we were crossing over Times Square and a girl blew the light and plowed her land cruiser into the passanger side of her car...where i was sitting. I am ok. i have a mild concussion where the a pillar collasped from the force of the truck and hit my in the head along with the airbag deploying. i have a bruise arm, hip and rip cage area from where i was thrown into the center console from the impact. My friend April broke her nose from the impact of the airbag and has a few bumps and bruises. April was able to get out of the car but i was wedged inbetween the pillar (roof)and the console of the vehicle. i was lucky that we had the windows down since it was nice out otherwise i might of had alot of glass on me too. The windsheild cracked but remarkable just spidered and stayed somewhat intacted. So like i said before when the S**T hits the fan ...it really hits the fan!!!!!!!
oh and AJ said that if i didnt say this Scott would be upset with me...... WE BOTH WERE WEARING OUR SEATBELTS...they cut mine off of me though!

Glad you're OK kiddo - good to hear from you.
My .02 - when things are going wrong it is the best time to gather with your freinds and do the things you love. While it seems inappropriate to be enjoying yourself while your Mom has issues - it doesn't help her for you to be down too - and trust me, she understands, all Moms do. Yeowsa! Glad to hear you're o.k. I echo what DaddySS said. Your Mom needs you to be "up" for her. She wouldn't want you to be blue about her situation. She knows you're worried....

Good grief Erin, you should write a book about all the things that have happen to you in the last year or so. It would have to be in the "Fiction" section though, because no one would believe it was all true!
Anyway, I hope you, April, and your mom get better fast. (and I say that while sitting here with my broken left leg in a cast).
