Ran into an old friend of mine today. Haven't seen him in about 15 years. He still has the 73 Camaro LT that he had when we were growing up and the bought a brand new 86 IROC that he still has as well. He had a problem with his steering box and it was replaced. He says it feels a lot different that the original. It doesn't have the firm road feel. THe questions is: is there a different steering box that went into the Iroc than what was in the sport or other Camaro's. If so, where can he get one?
I can't believe he still has both. I loved Camaro's all the more when he bought the 73. I wanted one ever since and after all those kids finally got mine in 99!!

... same is true for the WS6 option on the T/A. I believe there was a 'Z' cast in the housing of the steering box itself.
