I was cleaning off the SS tonight and my neighbor walks by and says "if that thing gets any shinier, my eyes are gonna bust!" [Smile]

I also had a guy tell me at 7-11 my car was bad a$$ tonight.

Nice! I love to hear great remarks as well...Makes you know that your hard work on the car has paid off. My neighbor asked what I used as a wax, and I beleve I sold him on my Zaino. Not to mention all my friends now use it [Cool] Keep up the good work!

This week I was at Arby's eating and and a guy says to me. How do you keep your car so clean. It really makes you feel good when someone notices your car.

I echo that sentiment. A couple of years ago I was sitting at a traffic light in downtown Toronto when a middle aged lady crossing the street stopped in her tracks, looked at the car and walked over to say nice car and that she loved the color (red-orange metallic).

It happened this spring in Ottawa at a light when a middle-aged man crossing the street stopped loooked at the car and told me it was a nice car (this was after 18 hours detailing the paint with the entire Zaino process).

I also over heard a lady walking along with two gentlemen. Right in mid-sentence she said nice car as I passed and then continued on without missing a beat in what she was saying. Kind of funny actually.

Driving by and people giving you a thumbs up is fun too. It's happened alot of times to me.

It is always great getting appreciation of a nice car kept looking nice.

Another thing to add..when others in old 60's mustangs give you thumbs up while driving.

Of course, I like giving thumbs up as well to make others feel good, concur?

Oh yeah...absolutely. I make a point of doing that, and the thumbs up is not limited to just Camaaros or Firebirds.

On a related topic, my wife drives a '94 Vette which she dearly loves and is really into it. She is attempting to single-handedly resurrect the Corvette wave in Oakville. She waves at EVEERY Corvette she sees on the road. She has noted that she usually gets a response from C4 and older Vettes, but not thar often from C5 owners.
