Poking around the ZED yesterday ....found the harness for the CD changer. There are two sets of wires in the plug ...one set is left audio in, right audio in and audio return. The other is power, a power signal?! and I don't recall what the third was for. I tried to connect the audio wires to a headphone jack, and then set the head unit to AUX to pickup the signal ...the plan being to splice in an A/V plug to use with an iPod MP3 player. The head unit wouldn't switch to AUX. I'm assuming it has something to do with the power signal.

Anyone have an idea for a simple workaround?

That's exactly what I'm looking for. They even have the adapter for the headphone jack.

Thanks much. I'll be ordering it and let you know how it works. [Smile]
