I recieved a coupon from my dealearship saying it was time for my oil change. On the back were coupons for different services. On the fine print of one it says "plus tax. one tons extra. excludes aleros, cameros and corvettes. most gm vehicles......." Now I love GM as much as the next person in this place, but come on people. [Roll Eyes]

Because they know most folks with LS1's run synthetic oil which costs more.... thus the reason for exclusion. HD Trucks require a lot more oil.... 8+ quarts I think.... so that costs more... Dealers gotta make a living too...

The part that gets me is that they spelled Camaro incorrectly. Their own product, one with such a reputation, and they can not spell it right. No wonder the Camaro went down the drain. Everyone was looking to buy Cameros, and never found any.

Ahh... I just thought you misspelled it. Most dealers use outside companies to put those maintence remonders togather.... probably have someone who doesn't know a thing about cars doing it and thats what the smell cheker came up with.... [Razz]
