late last week i came home to find my Motorcycle knocked over. don't know if it was just tipped or if someone hit it.
Well i took it into the dealer to get it repaired, and they just called me with an estimate of, brace yourself, $1,966.22
So naturally i made an insurance claim, but my deductable is still $500.00.
So, the even suckier part of this whole thing, is that i am now going to be unable to go to BG like i had hoped. finances are just too bad right now. i had so much fun last year, i will miss seeing you guys. take lots o pics and post 'em for me.

Sorry to hear about the Bike.
I can't it is already at the dealer. this all happened right in the middle of me trying to sell it. . me selling this bike weighed heavily on whether or not i could go to BG. so i'm feeling the snow-ball effect right now. Posts: 1579 | From: Portland, OR. | Registered: May 2001

That sucks! I have a friend over there trying to sell a bike also.... he hasn't had much interest. I think people aren't buying toys right now...

i'll go ahead and hang onto my hotel reservations, so i can give them to someone if need be.
and on another bright note, i got my car back from the dealer this afternoon and found a small scratch in the drivers rear 1/4 panel i always go over my SS with a fine tooth comb for this exact reason. now i am going to have to go in and have them fix it. man i hate dealerships. i swear, that is the last time i take it in, unless the problem(s) are very obvious. i will just take it to Steve to fix them, whether or not it is under warranty Posts: 1579 | From: Portland, OR. | Registered: May 2001

Sorry to hear that your bike got damaged and you may not make it to BG. Two of my friends that were planning on going to BG are not going now.Hopefully I will still be able to attend myself.Worst case,I will have extra rooms to let go.
