I took my other F-body to the track over the weekend and got a new best out of it. 10.33@132 with 1.46 60'. not to shabby for a pig through the exhaust. I just can't wait until the air gets a bit cooler so I can get serious and shoot for the 9's, which shouldn't be a problem. -

Awesome times! What size engine is in that Camaro and what year is it? I just helped my son stuff a 1970 LS6 454 into his 1979 Berlinetta. We have not yet ran the car at the track...still working out a few little bugs. [Cool]

Thanks, I have had the car for 16 years and it has seen many of tranformations. Low 11 sec small block with small tires to the 9 sec capable big block with BIG tires. I have had 4 79 Z's but will never part with this one, my 2nd. It took me buying the SS to get back into driveng this machine. I took the SS to the track and ran mid 13's and then realized I had a 10 sec machine in the garage. I have a 3 yr old little girl so the last couple of years it was hard for me to get the car out. Now my wife and daughter cruise the ragtop, and I follow in the Pro Streeter. - - -

Awesome couple of Camaros you have! Soon we will find out what my son's 1979 Camaro will run in the 1/4 mile.I think it will be in the 13's since it has a huge traction problem with all of that torque from the LS6. Everyone else I talked to said it should run low 12'2 to high 11's on engine.I don't think so. [Smile]
