I guess they don't believe in the old motto by our Fore Fathers " No taxation without respresentation. " Hmmmmmmmmm I wonder if they have to pay the same or if we are the ones that take care of it for them? [Mad]

Tell me about it, i didn't vote for him either, think he got elected because he was the lesser of two evils....we get a heat wave & he runs around the country buying enegry form anyone who's got a windmill...now the state is in debt & he's wondering why? [Roll Eyes] the sad part is, he could have raised the sales tax 1/4 of a cent, and no one would have felt it....
Thanks for letting me vent.

Actually, the "car tax" is being restored to its
level before the stock market bubble raised state
income to a level where it could be reduced a few
years ago. I think it sucks, too, last year my
registration was $199, and I'm due for renewal in
October. License fee was about $1K when I bought
the car in 1999.

Yeah, Davis has to go. He was elected last time
because he was able to get Riordan out in the GOP
primary by airing various smear hit pices on him
portraying Riordan as a "bad" Republican. In this
way, Davis got the opponent he wanted, Bill Simon,
an ultraconservative not palatable to the voting
public.

Check the most recent lawsuit filed by Davis
supporters, they say an election in October should
not be held because the new touch screen ballot
devices won't be ready and the old punch card
system will have to be used. Davis also wants to
be on the ballot as his own replacement should he
loose the recall. [Eek!] [Roll Eyes] [Eek!]
