I could not stand to see the S-10 wheels on that 1979 Camaro,so I bought my son a mint used set of Weld Rod Lites for his car.Really changes the look of the car.The 17" wheels he had on it from his S-10 SS rubbed the fender lips over bumps and made it hard to steer.I must be a good dad!

I love reading and seeing pics that you post on his car! Gives me a lot of ideas for the 79 Netta we bought for our 15 year old. Now if I could only talk him out of the Netta so I can have it. He won't take a Pinto for it... [Roll Eyes] He's says the only way I can have it is if we find him a Super Bee! yeah....right!! [Eek!]

His birthday is not until October 1st. I figured the car show/drag racing season will be over and at least he can enjoy the new look for a while. [Cool]

Its nice to get gifts like those from the parents. I got my current summer tires from my parents and grandmother for an early birthday gift in the spring. Otherwise, I'd be driving on bald tires or in more debt. [Cool]
