Had a great time at Super Chevy this past weekend. All of my hard labors paid off, and I was fortunate to win the 1993 to 2002 Street Class. The judge was pretty picky this year, it is really cool that the judges are available to talk to and see what you did right, wrong and seek advice!
Here's my mug, award and my SS!
I was great seeing everybody there, some really sweet cars, old, new, Camaros and more!
Weather was great, I am slighty sun burnt, but worth it.

I'd have to disagree on that one! Andy deserved his win but I was robbed. My car was in top form but I lost out to a car with some custom tail lights and nothing else over mine. Kudos for the workmanship on the lights but overall, the car was kinda dirty compared to mine, didn't have quite the attention to detail, etc. and should not have beaten mine by one point. I'm disappointed in the judging. Andy agrees and would second my testimony. I was looking for a Super Chevy 3-peat. Posts: 878 | From: Hoffman Estates, IL | Registered: Feb 2000

Hey Mark,
Maybe the judges were just tired of your old, plain, stock-looking SS winning and wanted some new blood in there!

Maybe.... or the judge was blinded by the glare of my gleaming vehicle and couldn't see that it was actually way cleaner than the one that he gave the award to (and I emphasize "GAVE").

The last show I went to was at Maple Grove. I got lost on going there, took the directions right from the web site. No signs where posted or anything like that I showed up at 11 and they would not let me enter my car, needless to say I was not a happy camper. And the women did not budge either. I gave them a nice little burnout when I was backing up from the lanes. What are they going to do kick me out Posts: 339 | From: Wallops Island, VA | Registered: Sep 2002
