And a fond farewell indeed. [Frown]

My car goes up on eBay tomorrow night for a 10 day auction. Like Steve, I too have visions for a new machine and will be voyaging into a project to build a machine beyond imagination. A machine of such brute power, handling and beauty that only the original five Grand Sports Corvettes built in 1963 will have something over her...

Please let your family and friends know that my SS is available and waiting for a new owner. [Cool]

Of course, I'll still be hanging here with y'all for quite a while. The project will likely take a couple years to complete but it'll be worth the wait. [Big Grin]

You WILL miss the silky smooth power of the SS.. but its a lot of fun (and $$) going old-school.. [Smile]

I cant wait to see "the project".. you need a catchy name for the project, a plan and a spiffy website.. with that you may garner sponsors [Smile]

Check your email.. jeeze.. [Big Grin]

The next Camaro? Well, if it's cool looking and the timing is right, maybe I'll sell the Caddy and have a 5th gen Camaro for a daily driver. I don't know. For now, I'll still have a Camaro to go to events in because my good friend Andy has TWO Camaros that are quite show-worthy. Lucky me! [Big Grin]

Yes, the new project will require mucho denero but I've lost sleep just thinking about the new car so I'm compelled to 'go for it'.

Wow, I'm in the same class as Steve? Thanks! I like that. A master enhancement authority wizard! I should put that on my business card.

Hey, I wish you had the money too. That way I'd know it was going to a good home and be treated right... hey, doesn't your wife need a Camaro too? [Wink]

I'll be around. Like I said, it'll be a while before I'm rolling again. Then... I may be the only Vette at all the F-body events. [Razz]

Someone hit the reserve. Looks like it'll be farewell afterall. [Frown]

Believe me, I still have mixed feelings about parting with the SS. Hopefully the winning bidder will give it a good home.

1963 Grand Sport Corvette... HERE I COME! [Big Grin] A dream gets a step closer to becoming a reality.

Thanks but that picture is not the car I'm buying. There won't be any instant gratification because these cars are pretty rare. I have to build my own. It'll be a year or so but a lot of fun (and aggravation I'm sure).
