My car goes up on eBay tomorrow night for a 10 day auction. Like Steve, I too have visions for a new machine and will be voyaging into a project to build a machine beyond imagination. A machine of such brute power, handling and beauty that only the original five Grand Sports Corvettes built in 1963 will have something over her...
Please let your family and friends know that my SS is available and waiting for a new owner.
Of course, I'll still be hanging here with y'all for quite a while. The project will likely take a couple years to complete but it'll be worth the wait. Posts: 878 | From: Hoffman Estates, IL | Registered: Feb 2000

The next Camaro? Well, if it's cool looking and the timing is right, maybe I'll sell the Caddy and have a 5th gen Camaro for a daily driver. I don't know. For now, I'll still have a Camaro to go to events in because my good friend Andy has TWO Camaros that are quite show-worthy. Lucky me!
Yes, the new project will require mucho denero but I've lost sleep just thinking about the new car so I'm compelled to 'go for it'.

Thanks, but I see it as: Someone else gets a cool car and so do I. Two good things come from it. Posts: 878 | From: Hoffman Estates, IL | Registered: Feb 2000

Oh no....my two heros of Camaro enhancements - the masters, the authorities, the wizards of appearance upgrades - selling their cars.
This is one of those times that I wish for unlimited funds...I would have bought them both!
Best of luck with the new projects and don't be strangers.

Wow, I'm in the same class as Steve? Thanks! I like that. A master enhancement authority wizard! I should put that on my business card.
Hey, I wish you had the money too. That way I'd know it was going to a good home and be treated right... hey, doesn't your wife need a Camaro too?
I'll be around. Like I said, it'll be a while before I'm rolling again. Then... I may be the only Vette at all the F-body events. Posts: 878 | From: Hoffman Estates, IL | Registered: Feb 2000

Thanks but that picture is not the car I'm buying. There won't be any instant gratification because these cars are pretty rare. I have to build my own. It'll be a year or so but a lot of fun (and aggravation I'm sure).
