Thank you for everything that you did on the baord and for your help in May 2002 when I had all my mods done over at Troy. From what Im reading, everyone in Troy was a celebrity. Good thing I didnt waste anyones time having the hood signed, its been replaced since then due to accidents.

Jeff, thanks for your passion. You made lasting changes in the way GM, SLP and F body owners looked at and improved an American legend. That passion ensures your future success, but I wish you luck anyway.
Keep up the LONG posts... it's attractive on you!

Jeff, think of it as the ending of one adventure and the beginning of the next. I'm sure you'll land some place that will give you as much opportunity, and angst, as SLP! Glad to know that you'll still be around and I hope we'll see you at some of the events.

Jeff: Although we have never met in person, I feel like I know you as I would an old friend. You have often provided me with advice that no one else could give, and you were always a cool guy, even when a bit sarcastic. However, in true parting style, I have a few other bullet points.
1. I hope that your semi-retirement will keep you on the boards enough to pop in and answer questions, or poke fun, because we all know how bored the board would be without you here to set us straight on our ways. Between here, Kaveman's asylum, and the fbodyowners board, we hope you wont be a stranger.
2. I hope you also find time for yourself to relax, and enjoy the wonderful world of consulting. If you have to do that kind of work, I cant think of a better company than SLP.
3. I still think the funniest thing you ever said was about your degree in aerospace engineering, about thinking that man was not meant to fly.
4. Thank you for all the technical questions, incessant as they may have been, that you answered for me and many others here on the board.
5. I always knew you were one of the night mods, and suspected that it was you who closed down our monster 800 post "memebers" thread. I couldnt think of a better mod to be own3d by.
And finally, Jeff. Good luck in your future ventures, I hope they go well for you. I also hope you find a job in the fine tradition of your positions at GM and SLP, something with hot cars, that you enjoy.
But one final question, something that you, Dave, and none of the others ever commented on. I would like to know what you think of the custom firebird centercaps that I designed and built???
As we say down here in Texas: Keep your eyes open, and watch for rattlesnakes.
Oh, and if you might wanna pay attention to the college level SAE formula racing events over the next few years. You might recognize an old acquaintance on the racing team in the next few years from Texas A&M. I'll be graduating with my BSME before too long, and the senior design classes get to design the new car. Bwahahahahaha.
