Was hoping that the weather would help run faster than the 12.72 I ran a couple of weeks ago,I was hoping for some 12.60s.
Couldn't manage a single run in the .60s yesterday,,only ran .58 or better,, .
My car loves cold air but is inordinately affected by humidity, most of my runs were 12.54 to 12.58 when the car hooked.Later in the evening weather started playing with times again. Each run would be .01 quicker than the last.
My dial was landed at 12.52 and my opponent redlighted so ran 12.59 flat out, checked with a weather station and all was indicating slower times ahead.Dialed 12.55 on the next run, lifted at the other end and ran 12.48 !!!!!
My car is 100 lbs heavier than when I ran my 12.500 with the 4.10/10 bolt!!!
So NEW RECORD ,,, and we are still a month away from really fast weather!!!!!!!!!!
Thanks MIKE !!!!
