AJ (TtopSS) and I have been talking about a 'Fall folliage' cruise/gathering for quite some time. So....., here's a plan:
There is a car show already scheduled for SUNDAY OCTOBER 19th at Mills Mansion in the Hyde Park, NY area. Why not get some F-bodies together to cruise/meet-up that day?
Here's a general map of the Mid-Hudson Valley area to give you an idea of travel distances.
...travel alone, or bring the family. Either way, there will be something to do. We're simply looking for a day to relax, enjoy the cars, enjoy the company, ...and have some laughs. If anyone has any interest, please post here. Details/specifics will follow as we see what the response is...

I'll be 'prepping' for Bowling Green, ...but New Paltz is only about 15 minutes from me!, ...we should definitely see if we can hook up ... Posts: 1046 | From: Pine Bush, NY USA | Registered: Aug 2001

Dan, Probably for the locals it would be a one day thing, ...however for any 'out-of-towners', ...there is a lot to do in the area if you decided to stay over Saturday (or even Friday) night. There are a couple nice Motels on Route 9 (that runs through Hyde Park, Rhinebeck, etc.) that I will look up if anyone is interested in staying over. Due to the fall folliage time of year, I would suggest the earlier the better as far as booking,... there tends to be a lot of 'tourism' in the area that time of year.
