For anyone that hasn't already heard, these are my last few days as a bachelor since I'm getting married August 31 (Sunday). Aimee and I met a few years ago through mutual friends and finally started dating last August (the 31st, actually). Those of you I met in Bowling Green last year ALMOST got to meet her. We were debating making the trip together but she had work and I had already promised the copilot seat to someone else months in advance.

I've decided to leave work at noon today and take tomorrow off completely...I don't know if I'll be online at all this weekend so I figured I better post this now. We fly out for St Maarten on Monday so I may not see you all until I get back to work on the 15th. And even then, many of you will be on your way to Bowling Green.

For those of you going to BG this year...I really wish I could make it again. I enjoyed meeting everyone last year and putting faces to the screen names/cars. It sounds like most of last year's crew will be there again this year and some new folks I would have wanted to meet. Enjoy the gathering and travel safe.

Thank you all for your well wishes. The wedding was great and the bride looked gorgeous! We're still packing up, getting ready to fly outta here at midnight so I've gotta keep it short.

The wedding was great and held at the Queen Anne
Victorian Mansion. There was an event going on at the nearby Portland International Raceway, so all through the ceremony we could hear the cars on the front stretch. VVVVVRRRRROOOOOOOMMMMMMMM!

It even made it into their vows that Aimee had to share Cy with his Camaro. [Eek!]
