HM Murdock 2nd Gear Member # 728 posted                       At the shop doing the install...of course, it's running open headers at the moment...The 4" to 3" reducer has not arrived yet...This shop specializes in L98 and up Y-cars and F-cars... All that's left is to check for leaks, and to get the exhaust system hooked up... I'm on my way in a few minutes to pick that up, then drop it off, and I'll get to hear it for myself...And then, drive it. [ 02. I have never heard an LT series engine with open headers, and nearly .580 of exhaust lift...Got the exhaust hooked up, and fired her up, and it is louder through a stock GM LS1 SS muffler than a stock LT1 is through a cut-out. I don't think i am going to be opening the existing cut-out too much. I'd go deaf. However, the o2 extension didn't come in, so it couldn't be properly tuned, so one more day without her...
